Different Ways of Curing ADDThere are
many treatments available in the market today for curing ADD. Each of
the treatments use a specific stimulant medication for curing ADD. The
treatments deployed for curing ADD include both the traditional pharmaceutical
stimulant medications and other alternative treatments such as herbal
and homeopathic treatments. Till a few years ago, the choice of treatment
for curing ADD has remained treatments involving stimulant medications.
With increasing harmful side effects caused by the stimulant medications,
nowadays more and more people are moving towards natural ways for curing
ADD. Now let us see some of the widely used stimulants and herbs for
curing ADD.
Hydroxytryptophan is an amino acid used for curing ADD, that elevates serotonin levels. Tryptophan is converted into a number of other health promoting chemicals including niacin which when low can cause mental problems. Ginko biloba is a herb used for curing ADD, that increases the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which is the most abundant neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. It is the main chemical involved in memory. This herb is extremely helpful for curing ADD, as one of the main symptoms of ADD is to forget things. The use of herbs for curing ADD does not show immediate results as stimulant medications. One needs to be patient and follow the guidelines to get better results. For curing ADD, one should use any one of the medications, either stimulant medications or herbal medications. The use of both stimulant medications and herbs together for curing ADD, may result in some adverse side effects to the individual suffering due to ADD.
