What is the Main Cause of Bad Breath?Most common
cause of bad breath (Medical term Halitosis) is the odorous waste products
(volatile sulfur compounds) created by oral anaerobic bacteria. To eliminate
the cause of bad breath what a person needs to do so to cure bad breath
& improve the quality of their breath is to clean their mouth in
a manner which helps to avoid the amount of food available for these
bacteria. The cause of bad breath, the availability of the types of
environments in which these bacteria prefer to live is more. The cause
of bad breath by oral bacteria that is primarily produced by the odorous
waste products these bacteria create as they digest proteins. This cause
of bad breath would imply comparatively less with a vegetarian diet
(diets high in fruit and vegetable consumption) and more with diets
high in protein rich foods such as meat.
Another cause of bad breath may be due to Dry mouth. Insufficient saliva allows dead cells to accumulate in your mouth. The cells decomposing factor would be cause of bad breath. Actually, the alcohol in mouthwash makes your mouth dry and as the cause of bad breath is repeatedly used it worsens because certain types of bacteria thrive in dry environments. To find out the cause of bad breath, make an appointment with your dentist to cure bad breath. Based on oral condition, the Dentist may refer you for further evaluation on other disorder. Bad breath may also be the sign of potentially more serious medical conditions such as diabetes, duodenal ulcers, gastro-esophageal reflux, hypoglycemia, kidney or liver malfunction, and respiratory disorders.
