There is no specific thrush treatment available till date for curing oral thrush in infants, as the oral thrush generally resolves on its own within two weeks. Oral thrush treatment in adults is performed in two different ways. One method of oral thrush treatment in adults is to improve the immune system's ability to function. An antifungal cream is usually prescribed for the breastfeeding mother as part of oral thrush treatment, which needs to be applied to the nipples to prevent infection from the baby's mouth.
