Effective home remedy for gingivitisIn early stages, gingivitis is painless, but may lead to bleeding gums and other oral problems. Bleeding gums is the main symptom of gingivitis. Gums become red and swollen, teeth may become loose or may eventually fall out.
Gingivitis, when combined with receding gums, periodontal disease, and other conditions, can create serious health problems. Gingivitis almost always leads to bad breath, a serious social problem for many people. Brushing the teeth to remove plaque and tartar helps to maintain good oral hygiene. The prognosis for patients with properly treated gingivitis is good. If it is untreated, it may progress to periodontitis, loose teeth and eventual tooth loss. Marginal gingivitis is painless but may appear as bleeding from the gingival crevice, particularly when brushing the teeth. Gingivitis is the first sign that you need to take additional action to prevent gum disease or even worse. Gum disease is one of the indicators for many other catastrophic illnesses including stoke and heart attacks. Unless gingivitis is kept under control by tooth brushing and flossing and the use of antibacterial products, the condition will recur. Food grade clove oil is the best medicine. Brush at least twice a day with two drops on your toothbrush. When extra protection is necessary put 2 drops on youre tongue and coats your entire mouth, thereby effectively killing the problem causing bacteria. To alleviate the pain, get some essential oil of clove. Make sure it is pure. Putting this on the tooth or around it will deaden the nerves, but if it is infected, it will have to be filled or come out. There are
low-cost clinics available. If it is an infection in the mouth, get
some Tea Tree Oil and mix one dropper full in a cup of water. Use this
as a mouth wash/rinse 3 times a day until the infection disappears.
Don't swallow it! Just swish it in your mouth paying particular attention
to the area where you are experiencing pain and it should take care
of it. Tea Tree oil is anti-fungal and anti-septic. Even usage of hydrogen
peroxide as a rinse for infections in the mouth produces good results.
If it's serious, please do visit the dentist without delay.
