About Adrenal FatigueThe adrenal glands secrete hormones like epinephrine and nor epinephrine which are responsible for supercharging our body for a short time during which you are filled with lots of energy to do some extraordinary task. They also secrete a host of other hormones which are responsible for the generation of glucose.
Overeating and weight gain may also cause adrenal fatigue. This adrenal fatigue is found mostly in women. Sometimes the adrenal fatigue may cause the adrenal glands to become non functional and as a result of this the body weight decreases and also results in low blood pressure. This is found mostly in women. Adrenal steroids like cortisone and hydrocortisone are used in treating adrenal fatigue. Proper dosage has to be given to the patients for treating adrenal fatigue. Adrenal fatigue is diagnosed by using an adrenal panel which is used to measure the levels of different hormones that are secreted by the adrenal glands. The common symptoms of adrenal fatigue are fatigue, insomnia, weight gain, and depression. It should be understood that every challenge to the mind put on the load to the adrenal glands. To make your adrenals to work better and to come out of adrenal fatigue you can change your eating habits to include essential fatty acids like fish oil. You need to avoid carbohydrates and stimulants. Do moderate exercises to reduce stress and take a lot of rest. These would see you come out of adrenal fatigue.
