Chronic fatigue immune deficiency syndromeChronic fatigue immune deficiency syndrome is also known as chronic fatigue syndrome. The exact cause of this syndrome is not known but it is believed that a weak immune system would be one of the causes. Diagnosis of chronic fatigue immune deficiency syndrome is done by closely watching the symptoms.
Physical activities of such persons having chronic fatigue immune deficiency syndrome are restricted when compared to a normal person. These persons may experience general pain throughout the body.Drugs that are used as anti-inflammatory are also used to treat patients of chronic fatigue immune deficiency syndrome who have pain all over the body. The common anti-inflammatory drugs that are used for chronic fatigue immune deficiency syndrome are naproxen (Aleve, Anaprox, Naprosen), ibuprofen (Advil, Bayer Select, Motrin, Nuprin), and piroxicam (Feldene). These drugs are available over-the-counter. For persons suffering from lack of sleep due to chronic fatigue immune deficiency syndrome are treated with anti-depressants. The dosages of anti-depressants given to such patients are normally in lower dosages when compared to the treatment of depressions. The anti-depressants that are used to treat chronic fatigue immune deficiency syndrome patients are doxepin (Adapin, Sinequan), amitriptyline (Elavil, Etrafon, Limbitrol, Triavil), desipramine (Norpramin), and nortriptyline (Pamelor). Consulting a doctor before using such medications is advisable.
