are also called fever blisters, since the infection of these herpes
simplex virus causes blister to appear on the skin. There are many ways

to heal cold sores involves using creams like aciclovir 5 per cent cream.

heal cold sores.
Some medicines are prepared by the people for use at home to heal cold sores. One such medicine is preparing a mixture of camphor and spirit and then applying that mixture over cold sores to heal cold sores. This type of treatment to heal cold sores is not recommended for children, since exposure to camphor more than 500 mg is dangerous for children. Some native Americans have used the herb chaparral (Larrea tridentata) to heal cold sores. To restrict the growth of the herpes simplex virus some people apply dimethy sulfoxide using cotton balls on the cold sores.
