HSV2, a person has to restrain from sexual contacts with the person

If your partner has genital herpes, you need to avoid having sex with your partner during the active outbreak of the herpes simplex virus. This is will help in preventing herpes simplex transmission from your partner to you. If your partner has active facial herpes, it is better to avoid oral sex since there is chance for you to acquire genital herpes. These are some of the ways to avoid herpes simplex transmission. One another way to avoid herpes simplex transmission is the use of condoms. If the condom is not covering the infected area in the genital there is every possibility for herpes simplex transmission to occur. Hence more precaution has to be taken to avoid herpes simplex transmission due to genital herpes.
