Ginger
tea is one of the natural cures for the flu. A person affected by flu
can take ginger tea four or five times a day. Preparing ginger tea is
very easy. All you have to do is to boil ginger and water for ten minutes
and after cooling down the solution add some honey before you drink
it. Before adding honey you can filter the tea. This ginger tea is found
to have dramatic effect on a person.
Eucalyptus oil is used as a natural cure for the flu. Add eucalyptus
oil to the boiling water in a bowl and inhale the vapors. For effective
inhaling of vapors you can cover your head with a towel while you inhale
from a bowl. Apart from treating flu this method of inhaling eucalyptus
vapors will decongest the nasal path and gets some immediate relief
from cold. This type of treatment can be given for ten to fifteen minutes
during a session.
Generally taking good rest helps you to get relief from cold and flu. Hence it is always recommended to take complete rest which serves as a natural cure for the flu. A good rest helps the immune system in our body to focus against the microbes and act against them. One another herb that is used in cold and flu treatment is garlic. Garlic has anti microbial properties which are used as a natural cure for the flu. Garlic pearls are available at all medical stores and this can be used. Taking raw garlic is also an effective way to treat cold and flu but it is difficult for most of the persons to take raw garlic.
