Hair loss can occur due to various reasons and for preventing hair loss you have many ways and means and few of them are very easy to prepare and you yourself can prepare the remedies at your home.


When you stand up to make your own treatment method you may be even surprised to know the capabilities of little things, which were unknown hitherto, in solving your hair loss problem.

We will see the use of castor oil in preventing hair loss. Take two teaspoons of castor oil and add two teaspoons of shikakai powder, powdered amla, crushed fenugreek seeds, two teaspoons of neem paste, two eggs and make it into a well mixed paste.

Apply this paste copiously over your scalp and hair and allow it to stay for 30 to 45 minutes. Use mild shampoo to wash. If the treatment is continued for a period, then you can see fresh hair growth.

Hair loss can also happen due to dandruff. For controlling the dandruff, you can resort to massaging your scalp with little warm coconut oil followed by lemon juice.

Take 550 grams of methi seeds and after grinding them mix it with two eggs and apply this on your scalp. Let the mixture soak for 30 minutes.

Then use anti-dandruff shampoo for washing and rinse finally in warm water mixed with lemon juice. Do it twice a week to attain a favourable result for your dandruff problem.

Hair fall can also happen due to fungal or bacterial diseases and for such infections, you should contact your doctor or a dermatologist for best prescriptions.

When it comes to the first lesson for preventing hair loss it could be the maintenance of your overall health. Your hair will be the first to take the beating in case of any illness and it will show off by way of hair loss or dullness.

Like your body that needs vitamins and minerals for good health, your hair is also in need of essential nutrients.

And in the event of your body experiencing shortage of essential minerals, the natural defense mechanism will get triggered that will first arrest supply of nutrients to less important organs or areas such as your scalp and hair due to which your hair will start falling out.

So it is essential for you to include food items so as to have a well-balanced nutrient supply for your daily needs. You can note to include green leafy vegetables, fresh fruit salads, lean meat, poultry, fish, eggs, nuts, yogurt, almonds and cottage cheese that can supply all the requires nutrients both to your body as well as to your hair.

Further, make it a point to take sufficient water including herbal teas and unsweetened fruit juice in your daily schedule. You should take not less than 8 glasses of water in a day and should avoid tea or coffee and they are known to drain whatever the little water available in your body.

Consumption of alcoholic beverages can also interfere with the efficacy of the medicines taken for preventing hair loss.

A good schedule of exercise daily can also go a long way in maintaining your body in good shape devoid of any diseases including hair loss.
