A yet another indirect way of stress showing up as hair loss is through nutrition. During stress, many people develop eating disorders and they may end up either in eating more or very less and hence there will be a wide variation in the nutrient availability levels. The drastic change in the ones nutrient level due to stress can result in hair loss.In an over eating case, majority of the people always goes for chocolates as a natural choice. Further people who are in stress reach for fatty foods, sweets and chocolates and all these foods act as pacifiers and calms down the brain and the moods. On the contrary, less eating or poor eating can result in shortage of nutrients and that can result in hair loss and hence the popular belief that stress and hair loss go hand in hand.
