About Hemorrhoids, and its Treatment InformationHemorrhoids
are conditions where there is a swelling of the veins around the veins. The veins
may be inflammed sometimes. Hemorrhoids can be internal or external. Internal
hemorrhoids are found inside the anus or the rectum and the external is found
external to the anus or rectum but near them. The internal hemorrhoid may sometime
protrude and it is called protruding hemorrhoid. Hemorrhoids are caused due to
straining in moving the stool. Factors like pregnancy, aging, diarrhea and even
anal intercourse contributing to the formation of hemorrhoids.
Treating
hemorrhoids is to treat the symptoms of hemorrhoids and in worst cases other types
of treatment is taken. To reduce the symptoms a person can take tub baths several
times a day in plain and warm water for about 10 minutes. Application of hemorroidal
creams may also help in treating it. An increase in fiber and fluid content in
your diet will help you in controlling the hemorrhoids and even preventing them
from occurring. Right amount of fiber content and around 6 to 8 glasses of water
will result in softer and bulkier stools which makes emptying the bowels easier.
This helps in eliminating the straining to move the stools and preventing protuding
hemorrhoids. Ask Dr. Gott: Bloody stool has many possible causes (The Monterey County Herald) Pour Me a Melon: Masters of the Blenders' Art (New York Times) What causes me to have bloody stool? (Erie Times-News)
