Toe nail fungal infection is a condition in which the toe nail becomes green or yellow due to the action of the fungus. The possible home remedies to cure the toe nail fungus are given below.

They are Potassium Iodide -This remedy, is recently discovered. Potassium Iodide if taken internally in large quantities it is toxic, so it should be kept out of reach of children. It can be found in many high school chemistry labs as a chemical salt. When used as a remedy for Toenail Fungus, Super Saturated Potassium Iodide (SSKI) is mixed with DMSO (Dimethyl sulfoxide) in a 3:1 ratio . It is applied topically to the toenail .SSKI is made by dissolving KI in a dropper-bottle filled with water, until no more will dissolve.

DMSO can be purchased at health food stores. It is available as a liquid or as a gel. We should keep in mind that the freezing point for DMSO is 65 Degrees Fahrenheit. So if it is a cool day the liquid DMSO may be frozen. However, freezing does not affect the quality. As DMSO has not been approved by the FDA for most purposes, it is sold only as a solvent. Solution of Clorox with Water- Chlorine Bleach kills fungus, but Bleach is a harsh chemical. It can be used to purify drinking water, but we have to dilute it on the order of 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water.

Bleach can cure toenail fungus. Urine-Urine has anti fungal properties. Lysol Concentrate - If we use Lysol Concentrate the toenail grows slowly within 2-3 month time frame the infected growth disappear. Lysol is also a disinfectant attacking fungus. Anti-Candida Diet-many people with Candida infections also have toenail fungus. If we put the sufferers on a Candida-Type Diet, we can get dramatic results.

Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) - toenail fungus can be cleared with Chelation Therapy (with Hydrogen Peroxide). Chelation Therapy is a type of intravenous therapy which can only be performed by highly trained medical personnel because the extra Oxygen in the Hydrogen Peroxide is toxic to the fungus. Hydrogen Peroxide placed topically directly on and under the toenail will eliminate the fungus . Hydrogen Peroxide placed directly on the toenail may be even more effective than Chelation Therapy, as the concentration is much greater.
