List of thyroid dysfunction symptomsThe thyroid dysfunction symptoms are a result of the reduced levels of the hormone produced by the thyroid gland. There are plenty of thyroid dysfunction symptoms which as a result make the process of diagnosing the specific thyroid dysfunction difficult. The symptoms are more common in women than men.
Losing or gaining weight, chronic constipation or diarrhea, brittle hair and nails, and abnormally dark or light skin are some of the other thyroid dysfunction symptoms. Pale, flushed, or patchy skin, unusual weakness, muscle, bone, and joint pain, and hoarseness are some of the other common symptoms.Slurred speech, forgetfulness, sleep problems, heartbeat sensations, and eye problems are some common thyroid dysfunction symptoms. Consistent high blood pressure, fatigue for no apparent reason, breast development in men, and intolerance of heat or cold are some of the other thyroid dysfunction symptoms. Additional symptoms include noticeable change in appetite, unusually moist or dry skin, hair loss or thinning of eyebrows, and unusually thick or thin skin. Some of the other common thyroid dysfunction symptoms include chronic itching, lack of coordination, tongue problems, ear noise or hearing loss.
